Connecting Your Slack Account

  1. Navigate to Organization → Organization Settings → Integrations Integrations Navigation
  2. Go to Communications → Slack Communications Navigation
  3. Enable Slack Integration by clicking Enable → Sign into your Slack Workspace Enable Slack

Setting Up Triggers with Slack

You can configure a Trigger to be linked to a Slack channel. This means that when:
  • A new message is sent to the channel, or
  • A specific user is mentioned in the channel
the trigger will execute, and the rest of your workflow will commence.

A Slack Node can be used in your workflow after a tool node to perform the following actions:
  • Send a message to a Slack channel
  • Send a direct message to a specific user
  • Wait for a reaction to a Slack message before proceeding
  • Wait for a response to a Slack message before triggering the next step
This integration makes it easy to keep your team updated and automate repetitive communication tasks within Slack.
